In the 21st minute Iván Antonucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Gunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Guntademaro Perelman made a precise shot to the right of Darryl Gunn. Universidad de Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armin Palmisano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Palmisano in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Miguel Rondón saved CLUB DE DEPORTES TEMUCO from getting behind. Universidad de Chile's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
