The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chorrillo's Jose Malsch got control of the ball when Emilio Calzada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Arnau Alcantara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorrillo's Jose Malsch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillo's zone, Emilio Calzada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Malsch came out of the goal and Emilio Calzada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Simón Acurcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Patxi Saralegui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Julio Martens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnau Alcantara in the 28th minute of play forced Chorrillo's goalkeeper Jose Malsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Raúl Amadori hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnau Alcantara got free with Jose Malsch in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huintil FC's goalkeeper José Julio Martens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chorrillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Calzada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huintil FC's goalkeeper José Julio Martens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Huintil FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patxi Saralegui ran over to the corner to take the kick. Romualdo Machado was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Huintil FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Chorrillo for much of the match.
