In the 10th match minute, FC Juventus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esequiel Lizana Lezana to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Matías Mendonça in the 13th minute really tested Ceferino Rio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 14th minute, Romano Argo made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Rio. FC Juventus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Romano Argo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ceferino Rio came out and tried to block the shot, but Romano Argo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Messias in the 26th minute of play forced FC Juventus's goalkeeper Ceferino Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Justo Bazan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Club de Deportes Temuco's Vicens Bascuñán. Vicens Bascuñán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Club de Deportes Temuco's goal looked a bit too open when Duardo Uriona came free, but Vicens Bascuñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Argo in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of FC Juventus booed when Club de Deportes Temuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Trincado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romano Argo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duardo Uriona was the one to do the kick off. Justo Bazan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Bazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justo Bazan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, FC Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Rosende came free, but Ceferino Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Juventus's Ceferino Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romano Argo in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes FC Juventus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Almonacid who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Club de Deportes Temuco's Jonathan Almonacid to fire away a dangerous shot which Ceferino Rio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Juventus's Ceferino Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romano Argo in the 84th minute of play. Justo Bazan was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Juventus getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Justo Bazan hit a great ball. Matías Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the game, one of Club de Deportes Temuco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Vicens Bascuñán, was totally fooled by FC Juventus's Adam Polanco, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club de Deportes Temuco had played much better football throughout.
