Vicens Bascuñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edilberto Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Gustavo Fontaner kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Romano Argo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club de Deportes Temuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romano Argo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ireno Campillo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ireno Campillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Club de Deportes Temuco a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Almonacid, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quehuita's Epifanío Mejia. 1-0. Romano Argo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanío Mejia came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club de Deportes Temuco's Humberto Rosende. But to his dismay, Humberto Rosende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25th minute, Quehuita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Humberto Rosende fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 27 minutes, Raúlo Fabiani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quehuita and the Club de Deportes Temuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club de Deportes Temuco booed when Quehuita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúlo Fabiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicens Bascuñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yeray Pincheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Paco Granada put in a rough tackle. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 40th match minute, Quehuita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Sirens to maneuver through the defense. Vicens Bascuñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yeray Pincheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Carlos Gustavo Fontaner kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Romano Argo in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanío Mejia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romano Argo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Yeray Pincheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicens Bascuñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Romano Argo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quehuita's Epifanío Mejia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Gustavo Fontaner kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Carlos Gustavo Fontaner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quehuita and the Club de Deportes Temuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Quehuita got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gustavo Fontaner. In the 84th minute, Romano Argo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quehuita's Amado Sirens got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Club de Deportes Temuco's Romano Argo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quehuita's goalie prevented a goal.
