Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Javier Herdoyza started the match with the kick off. Amado Sirens charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Sirens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amado Sirens kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute, David Israel Ascue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Mallet came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Quehuita's Yeray Pincheira. But to his dismay, Yeray Pincheira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Luis Javier Herdoyza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Maillard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Epifanío Mejia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pilluco FC's Darien Zumaeta got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ireno Campillo, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Javier Mallet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Gustavo Fontaner went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 29 minutes, Yeray Pincheira made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pilluco FC's Javier Mallet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Basilio Maillard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilluco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Maillard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanío Mejia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos Gustavo Fontaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quehuita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Gustavo Fontaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Javier Herdoyza in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanío Mejia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Yeray Pincheira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quehuita's supporters rose to their feet, but Yeray Pincheira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Mallet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pilluco FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aurelius Delgadillo hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, Quehuita's Ireno Campillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Mallet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quehuita reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yeray Pincheira made a kick off. Javier Mallet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Gustavo Fontaner in the 52nd minute. Darien Zumaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanío Mejia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darien Zumaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Pilluco FC's Javier Mallet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yeray Pincheira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Yeray Pincheira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Gustavo Fontaner's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Javier Mallet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yeray Pincheira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Darien Zumaeta fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilluco FC's protests and gave Darien Zumaeta a yellow card for diving instead. Darien Zumaeta hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ireno Campillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Mallet. Pilluco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute Luis Javier Herdoyza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanío Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yeray Pincheira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelius Delgadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
