The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Monckeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quim Fell in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Germán Negrete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obrajia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Pelientos the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Obrajia FC's zone, Quim Fell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Monckeberg came out of the goal and Quim Fell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Quintán Nilo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genaro Monasterio. The goal made the score 1-0. Quim Fell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Carlo Paut took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Genaro Monasterio to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute, Carlo Paut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xulián Caamaño hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Cosme Llana took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Monasterio. Genaro Monasterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rigoberto Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pelientos's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Belarmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Monckeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When Cosme Llana fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obrajia FC's protests and gave Cosme Llana a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Llana hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Tanausu Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Honorio Monckeberg made a huge save. After 61 minutes of play, Obrajia FC's Cosme Llana made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Monasterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Monasterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintán Nilo in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Markus Gumucio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Monckeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Maria Aránguiz in the 74th minute of play forced Los Pelientos's goalkeeper Genaro Monasterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Monasterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Llana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Obrajia FC's Carlo Paut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Monasterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rigoberto Belarmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Honorio Monckeberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute Rigoberto Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Monckeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Quim Fell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Obrajia FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Pelientos for a fine match.
