Salomone Mazuelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Bahamonde in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Eustaquio Obanos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campanacura's Salomone Mazuelas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mohamed Esquivel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulín Lukey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Obanos in the 15th minute of play forced Campanacura's goalkeeper Salomone Mazuelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomone Mazuelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javiero Alenk in the 17th minute of play. Salomone Mazuelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Obanos in the 21st minute of the match. Magallanes's Eustaquio Obanos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magallanes's Leonides Bahamonde got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salomone Mazuelas came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Leonides Bahamonde. But to his dismay, Leonides Bahamonde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Salomone Mazuelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Bahamonde in the 40th minute of play. Eustaquio Obanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomone Mazuelas having to interfere. Salomone Mazuelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Bahamonde, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Eustaquio Obanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomone Mazuelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Bahamonde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salomone Mazuelas having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Obanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonides Bahamonde struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Salomone Mazuelas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magallanes. Salomone Mazuelas came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Leonides Bahamonde. But to his dismay, Leonides Bahamonde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Leonides Bahamonde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Salomone Mazuelas made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Campanacura's zone, Eustaquio Obanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomone Mazuelas came out of the goal and Eustaquio Obanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Salomone Mazuelas managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Magallanes's Leonides Bahamonde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonides Bahamonde hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcís Aspillaga during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Campanacura got a freekick which was hit by Narcís Aspillaga. With a little luck, Campanacura's Salomone Mazuelas got control of the ball when Leonides Bahamonde tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Magallanes booed when Campanacura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceandro Urzúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Obanos in the 97th minute of play forced Campanacura's goalkeeper Salomone Mazuelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Campanacura fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Magallanes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
