After having played for 13 minutes, Natalio Macchiavello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Macchiavello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Jaume Basay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Macchiavello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre De Smet d`Olbecke having to interfere. Gutijane's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Máximo Carreño was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. After a defensive mix-up in Gutijane's zone, Natalio Macchiavello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Natalio Macchiavello made the kick off in the second half. Alexandre De Smet d`Olbecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaume Basay in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Gutijane's goalkeeper Alexandre De Smet d`Olbecke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Ambrosio.
