Alex Sanchez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Evelio Duguid charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Duguid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Tomy FBC! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Sanchez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ursino Vivero saved Deportivo Tomy FBC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Sanchez in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ursino Vivero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Gladiacobres fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute, Alex Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes, Adolfo Cordoba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Tomy FBC and the Gladiacobres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Adolfo Cordoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Deportivo Tomy FBC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Duguid. Ursino Vivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avgust Rankov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ursino Vivero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Alex Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramón Bourchier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ursino Vivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ursino Vivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Avgust Rankov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Vivero having to interfere. The Deportivo Tomy FBC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gladiacobres were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geofredo Gazmuri to make the kick off. Alex Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Gladiacobres's goal looked a bit too open when Geofredo Gazmuri came free, but Tanausu De la Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez, in the 62nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gladiacobres. Luís Fuentes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ursino Vivero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiacobres. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alex Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiacobres's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ursino Vivero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alex Sanchez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ursino Vivero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Tomy FBC's goalkeeper Ursino Vivero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When De-Jesús Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gladiacobres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that De-Jesús Ayala couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Horacio Porras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Tomy FBC and the Gladiacobres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Deportivo Tomy FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Porras to maneuver through the defense. Alex Sanchezs short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Ursino Vivero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gladiacobres's Luís Fuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
