In the 4thth minute of the game Alex Sanchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maria's Gonzalo Maeztu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pere Jordi Delano kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tanausu De la Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pere Jordi Delano in the 15th minute of the match. Gladiacobres's Tanausu De la Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Tellerias in the 21st minute of play. Tanausu De la Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Jullian in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Larenas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Maria getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rubén Larenas hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Alex Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiacobres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Gonzalo Maeztu managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Ramón Bourchier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alex Sanchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maria's Gonzalo Maeztu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Maria getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Pere Jordi Delano hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edelmiro Tellerias made a kick off. Maria's Gonzalo Maeztu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Bourchier in the 52nd minute of play. Gladiacobres's Ramón Bourchier got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Tanausu De la Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Maria's Pere Jordi Delano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lorencio Horta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Alex Sanchez made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Maeztu. Maria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Maeztu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Maria defense, Alex Sanchez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Maeztu. The Maria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Maeztu should have stopped the shot. Avgust Rankov kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Maria getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dionisio Jullian hit a great ball. Ramón Bourchier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gonzalo Maeztu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorencio Horta in the 89th minute of play forced Maria's goalkeeper Gonzalo Maeztu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Maeztu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Rubén Larenas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tanausu De la Cruz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Jullian in the 93rd minute of play forced Gladiacobres's goalkeeper Tanausu De la Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lorencio Horta came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gladiacobres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorencio Horta couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Gladiacobres players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
