Quidenez AFC's Telmo Villablanca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Quidenez AFC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Valentín Peñaranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Villablanca, 1-0. Octavio Inzunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rungue's Valentín Peñaranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Villablanca. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Viviano Ackermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Villablanca having to interfere. The supporters of Rungue booed when Quidenez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Manuel Daza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Valentín Peñaranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rungue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentín Peñaranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentín Peñaranda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Telmo Villablanca came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentín Peñaranda slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 49th minute.

Orlando Portes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Rungue booed when Quidenez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Basualto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Cifuentes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Telmo Villablanca. Quidenez AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Telmo Villablanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Peñaranda in the 61st minute of play. Carlos Manuel Daza got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 66 played minutes Quidenez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Manuel Daza. Viviano Ackermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Viviano Ackermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rungue's supporters rose to their feet, but Viviano Ackermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Villablanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Valentín Peñaranda notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quidenez AFC's Telmo Villablanca. Telmo Villablanca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pierre Urbano made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Arturo Maira sent off a good shot on target. If Viviano Ackermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute, Viviano Ackermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rungue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rungue fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quidenez AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
