After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Valentín Peñaranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rungue's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentín Peñaranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Estevan Gana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Roland Orsterhont fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peine's protests and gave Roland Orsterhont a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Peine got a freekick which was hit by Roland Orsterhont. In the 30th minute, Viviano Ackermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hugo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peine's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Viviano Ackermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Fantini in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Urbano saved Rungue from getting behind. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peine's goalkeeper Juan Estevan Gana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

In the 53rd match minute, Rungue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Octavio Inzunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Peine's Victoro Goncalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Valentín Peñaranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rungue's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentín Peñaranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Estevan Gana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peine booed when Rungue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Portes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Estevan Gana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Peñaranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Peine's Ambrosio Moron got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Juan Cristóbal Valdovinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Pierre Urbano made a huge save. Juan Estevan Gana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Peñaranda in the 79th minute of the match. Juan Estevan Gana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Peñaranda in the 82nd minute of play. Juan Cristóbal Valdovinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Urbano having to interfere. Viviano Ackermann took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevan Gana. Juan Estevan Gana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peine players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rungue.
