Alex Ardizzoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Angel Gatica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Angel Gatica in the 9th minute of play forced Parajalla AFC's goalkeeper Alex Ardizzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Albert Lopetegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madeo Mayol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14thth minute of the game Luis Angel Gatica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parajalla AFC's Alex Ardizzoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Ossa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Luis Angel Gatica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ujina getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Timeteo Pumaraboli hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Parajalla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Almeyda. Luis Angel Gatica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Parajalla AFC's Alex Ardizzoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Angel Gatica in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Parajalla AFC's zone, Remigio Pulgar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ardizzoni came out of the goal and Remigio Pulgar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Angel Gatica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alex Ardizzoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Parajalla AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ujina were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Madeo Mayol made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Parajalla AFC defense, Luis Angel Gatica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Ardizzoni. The Parajalla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Ardizzoni should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Parajalla AFC booed when Ujina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Izarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Hugo Orlando Massenlli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ujina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parajalla AFC the free kick. Hugo Orlando Massenlli kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Alex Ardizzoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ujina. Ujina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Pulgar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Luis Angel Gatica got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Ardizzoni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the game, Octavio Cristofanini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parajalla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ujina the free kick. Octavio Cristofanini hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Evelio Ossa's late challenge caught a Ujina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Ossa helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Angel Gatica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ardizzoni having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ujina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Parajalla AFC.
