Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zacarías Santander started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Monge in the 3rd minute of play forced Barriles's goalkeeper Pedro José Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro José Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Santander, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Axel Huaiquipan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barriles's Pedro José Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Santander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Claudio Santander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Barriles getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Quentín Gundelach hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Mariano Marinkovic in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro José Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Santander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro José Balboa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarías Santander got free with Félix Meneses in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Mariano Marinkovic in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro José Balboa saved Barriles from getting behind. Claudio Santander kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Félix Meneses came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Barriles's Juan Carlos Urmeneta. But to his dismay, Juan Carlos Urmeneta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Quenay's Félix Meneses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarías Santander in the 46th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarías Santander got free with Félix Meneses in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Santander to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Santander in the 53rd minute of play forced Barriles's goalkeeper Pedro José Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro José Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Santander in the 57th minute of the match. When Juan Carlos Urmeneta came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Barriles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Carlos Urmeneta couldn't finish the play. Zacarías Santander got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Félix Meneses handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Claudio Santander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedro José Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudio Santander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quenay booed when Barriles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Viñuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Quenay's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarías Santander came free, but Félix Meneses reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Félix Meneses showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarías Santander in the 84th minute of the match. When Claudio Santander came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Quenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Santander couldn't finish the play. If Enrique Mariano Marinkovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Carlos Urmeneta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Carlos Urmeneta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan Carlos Urmeneta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barriles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
