CALIGVLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Carlos Urmeneta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Barriles's Juan Carlos Urmeneta in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CALIGVLA's goalie prevented a goal. If Juan Carlos Urmeneta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Albano Cares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CALIGVLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Cares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Barriles's Zacarías Santander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantino Bessoayn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viviano Pareja was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. CALIGVLA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Odón Montoya kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Constantino Bessoayn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Carlos Urmeneta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zacarías Santander sped through CALIGVLA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantino Bessoayn. Zacarías Santander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Bessoayn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barriles's Quentín Gundelach got a free kick in the 45th minute. Viviano Pareja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience was convinced that Zacarías Santander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Bessoayn was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Juan Carlos Urmeneta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Constantino Bessoayn made a huge save. After having played for 60 minutes, Zacarías Santander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barriles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarías Santander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Magdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Magdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CALIGVLA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alessandro Magdahl hit a great ball. Zacarías Santander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Bessoayn having to interfere. After 63 played minutes CALIGVLA got a freekick which was hit by Pere Jordi Wilson. Albano Cares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro José Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastiano Canales in the 69th minute of play. Sebastiano Canales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pedro José Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barriles's Pedro José Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiano Canales in the 77th minute of play. Sebastiano Canales might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro José Balboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastiano Canales ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Carlos Urmeneta struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Constantino Bessoayn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barriles. CALIGVLA's Constantino Bessoayn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarías Santander in the 84th minute of play. Pedro José Balboa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by CALIGVLA's Sebastiano Canales. But to his dismay, Sebastiano Canales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Pierre Agnese hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Juan Carlos Urmeneta came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barriles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Carlos Urmeneta couldn't finish the play. After having played for 97 minutes, Zacarías Santander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barriles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarías Santander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barriles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
