Rigoberto Dalmazzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Llimpo AFC's David Israel Abella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Dalmazzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Luis Godínez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Dalmazzo. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Llimpo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Javier Almadel to maneuver through the defense. David Israel Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Dalmazzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Israel Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ysmael Dueñas made a kick off. David Israel Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Juan Luis Godínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llimpo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Luis Godínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Juan Luis Godínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pietro Porte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rigoberto Dalmazzo. Canchillas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silvio Baeza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rutenio De Rurange. In the 75thth minute of the game David Israel Abella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canchillas's Rigoberto Dalmazzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacindo Binfa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Dueñas in the 78th minute of play forced Llimpo AFC's goalkeeper Silvio Baeza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Roque Basabilvaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Gilesindo Yanque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Baeza skillfully saved the ball. The Llimpo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 95 minutes into the game, Canchillas's Jacindo Binfa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Baeza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
