Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Alberto Sotomayor got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Patriotas FC booed when Tracalpulli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Fariña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Teodor Verdugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tracalpulli's Nereo Vache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Delgadillo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Juan Alberto Sotomayor made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Vache. Tracalpulli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Emilio Felipe Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moise Udubaşa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Tracalpulli's Teodor Verdugo. But to his dismay, Teodor Verdugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Alberto Sotomayor in the 44th minute of play forced Tracalpulli's goalkeeper Nereo Vache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Verdugo was the one to do the kick off. Juan Alberto Sotomayors short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Nereo Vache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Moise Udubaşa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Verdugo in the 53rd minute of play. Matteo Garachena hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Nereo Vache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Alberto Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Teodor Verdugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Moise Udubaşa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Patriotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amato Paladino to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Teodor Verdugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracalpulli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Verdugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Edgar Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Udubaşa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Felipe Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Moise Udubaşa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tracalpulli.
