Guillermo Vache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Pimienta in the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Baltilocos's goal looked a bit too open when Sergi Balmaceda came free, but Teofilo Pozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valentín Pimienta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11thth minute of the game Valentín Pimienta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escuela Superior's Guillermo Vache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Manuel Murillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baltilocos and the Escuela Superior players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Baltilocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Murillo to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Dawson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Guillermo Vache made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Escuela Superior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofelio Villamayor to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Vache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Pimienta in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Edgardo Dawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Vache. Escuela Superior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Valentín Pimienta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Pimienta in the 27th minute of play forced Escuela Superior's goalkeeper Guillermo Vache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Guillermo Vache successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Baltilocos's Valentín Pimienta in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Escuela Superior's goalie prevented a goal. Valentín Pimienta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Pimienta in the 35th minute of play forced Escuela Superior's goalkeeper Guillermo Vache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Varletta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Edgardo Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Escuela Superior's goalkeeper Guillermo Vache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Dawson. 42 minutes in the game, Valentín Pimienta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guillermo Vache having to interfere. Adolfo Marshall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Guillermo Vache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgardo Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentín Pimienta to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Murillo got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Baltilocos's Manuel Murillo got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Valentín Pimienta fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baltilocos's protests and gave Valentín Pimienta a yellow card for diving instead. Valentín Pimienta hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Teofilo Pozo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Hernández. Jordi Jofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Vache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordi Jofre ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hugo Orlando Camara fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escuela Superior's protests and gave Hugo Orlando Camara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Escuela Superior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Orlando Camara to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Edgardo Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Vache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Ancieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Vache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Ancieta ran back to his position shaking his head. Escuela Superior's Guillermo Vache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Dawson in the 83rd minute of play. Guillermo Vache came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Baltilocos's Jordi Jofre. But to his dismay, Jordi Jofre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Guillermo Vache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Dawson in the 92nd minute of play. Teofilo Pozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Paillemil in the 96th minute of play.
