In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Magnates's goalkeeper Feliciano Barra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Barra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CD Magnates's Feliciano Barra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save CD Magnates from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Sergio Atenas rounded CD Magnates's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Luis Angel Justicia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Florián Bassenge fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Magnates's protests and gave Florián Bassenge a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes CD Magnates got a freekick which was hit by Florián Bassenge. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zenaido Camus during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zenaido Camus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Colico AFC's Gilesindo Rondón shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Feliciano Barra but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavier Grove to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Colico AFC's Juan Antonio Planas got control of the ball when Xavier Grove tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavier Grove kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Florián Bassenge was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Florián Bassenge hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Feliciano Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Angel Justicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Florencio Dorr was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Anselmo Masoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Magnates's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Masoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. CD Magnates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Grove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Barra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baraquiel Zebadilla in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Baraquiel Zebadilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baraquiel Zebadilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Domingo Diestre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Domingo Diestre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Antonio Planas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Juan Antonio Planas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Diestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aníbal Ortuzar struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Juan Antonio Planas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Magnates. The Colico AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
