With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baraquiel Zebadilla in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Baraquiel Zebadilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Guntademaro Alejo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pumiri's protests and gave Guntademaro Alejo a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Colico AFC's Gilesindo Rondón tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Salamón Aros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Antonio Planas having to interfere. Maurino Inzunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salamón Aros in the 47th minute of play forced Colico AFC's goalkeeper Juan Antonio Planas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sergio Atenas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Pumiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guntademaro Alejo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Eber Urmeneta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Atenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sergio Atenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Colico AFC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilesindo Rondón, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pumiri's Amado Franco. 0-3. Colico AFC played a much better game than Pumiri and deserved their victory. The Pumiri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
