Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matias Esteban got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, EL CHUNCHO's Eladio Zercalde got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Tinoco in the 8th minute of play forced Nehuentue AFC's goalkeeper Belmiro Armanet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Nehuentue AFC's Florencio Larrarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Heredia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Florencio Larrarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes EL CHUNCHO got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Tinoco. Edmundo Cousiño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Heredia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Edgar Heredia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Larrarte went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th match minute, Nehuentue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eufemio Mendieta to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Nehuentue AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Silvino Budge hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Matias Esteban notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Nehuentue AFC's Belmiro Armanet. Belmiro Armanet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belmiro Armanet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eufemio Mendieta's late challenge caught a EL CHUNCHO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eufemio Mendieta helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Matias Esteban sped through Nehuentue AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Belmiro Armanet. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Juan Ignacio Cumplido made the kick off in the second half. Belmiro Armanet was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Matias Esteban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matias Esteban really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Eladio Zercalde hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Miguel Hernánde Vilu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Edu Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Belmiro Armanet made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, EL CHUNCHO's Fidelio Formoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belmiro Armanet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Florencio Larrarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Heredia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nehuentue AFC's Belmiro Armanet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Nehuentue AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Matias Esteban managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL CHUNCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Esteban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Armanet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Nehuentue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Carreto. In the 75th minute, Alarico Portillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matias Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Sobuage received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belmiro Armanet came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Sobuage slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 88th minute.
