Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amato Diez kicked off to start the match. Lázaro Avalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Fabri in the 4th minute of the match. Amato Diez might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Paravic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amato Diez ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Tatara's goalkeeper Lázaro Avalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortunato Vila. In the 15th minute Nacho Badilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Paravic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amato Diez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Paravic was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 24th minute of the match Eliazar Elso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Paravic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Huaicha FC booed when Tatara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rexino Masoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Jorge Fabri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliazar Elso kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Amato Diez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Huaicha FC's Severino Paravic. Severino Paravic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fortunato Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute of the match Abelado Fariña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Avalos skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Tatara's Amato Diez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Paravic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jorge Fabri made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Huaicha FC's zone, Nacho Badilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Paravic came out of the goal and Nacho Badilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 66th minute of the match Rexino Masoli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rexino Masoli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Fortunato Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Fabri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nacho Badilla fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatara's protests and gave Nacho Badilla a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Fabri in the 88th minute of play forced Tatara's goalkeeper Lázaro Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Huaicha FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Esquivel. Nacho Badilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Nacho Badilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatara's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Badilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Paravic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
