Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucián Oña kicked off to start the match. Rafa Arangua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Iturbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Tejada made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Eric Quirch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Zanjon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elizalde Gálvez. When Vilquico's Lucián Oña in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zanjon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Vilquico booed when Zanjon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandro Parrasia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Lucián Oña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Tejada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Modestio Marcoleta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Angel Encina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Tejada was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Filiberto Ortiz. After a rather tough play, Vilquico's Jonathan Iturbe got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Filiberto Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilquico's protests and gave Filiberto Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. If Luis Angel Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafa Arangua made a kick off. With a little luck, Vilquico's Modestio Marcoleta got control of the ball when Luis Angel Encina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Félix Marasso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Luis Angel Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Jonathan Iturbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilquico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Iturbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Tejada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Iturbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69thth minute of the game Jonathan Iturbe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zanjon AFC's Ubaldo Tejada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lucián Oña came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vilquico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucián Oña couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Tejada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Iturbe in the 77th minute of play. Ubaldo Tejada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Iturbe went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Modestio Marcoleta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Angel Encina in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute Rafa Arangua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestio Marcoleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Angel Encina in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Modestio Marcoleta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vilquico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zanjon AFC for a fine match.
