After 41 minutes, Aristeo Galan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thoma tu Gel and the Puntra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Thoma tu Gel getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Aristeo Galan hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Natalio Gabella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Yáñez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Thoma tu Gel were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Elear Martini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Urre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Yáñez's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Higuera in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elear Martini prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
