Andy Higuera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Juan Cifuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Thoma tu Gel's Ricart Cuello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Cifuentes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Andy Higuera in the 9th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Juan Cifuentes kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Chanco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Fauzi Tanjung scored to the left of an out of position Juan Cifuentes, making the score, 2-0. If Andy Higuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Thoma tu Gel's Andy Higuera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Cifuentes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Andy Higueras short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Juan Cifuentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricart Cuello struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Juan Cifuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thoma tu Gel. In the 29thth minute of the game Andy Higuera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanco's Juan Cifuentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mannuel Manzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Cifuentes having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Thoma tu Gel's Juan Cifuentes threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricart Cuello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Mannuel Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chanco getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mónico Garbiso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fauzi Tanjung in the 39th minute of play forced Chanco's goalkeeper Juan Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Thoma tu Gel's Xalvador Triviño got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Fauzi Tanjung notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Chanco's Juan Cifuentes. Juan Cifuentes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mónico Garbiso to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Thoma tu Gel's Diki Haruman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Chanco's Ricardo Soriano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thoma tu Gel. A collision led to Thoma tu Gel getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Andy Higuera hit a great ball. Thoma tu Gel's Leonel Segura was substituted for Eliseo Cox. Juan Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diki Haruman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Thoma tu Gel got a freekick which was hit by Diki Haruman. The supporters of Thoma tu Gel booed when Chanco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarracino Canío didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chanco's zone, Fauzi Tanjung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Cifuentes came out of the goal and Fauzi Tanjung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Chanco's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Manzano came free, but Juan Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Chanco got a freekick which was hit by Juan Carlos Arizmendi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Higuera in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Cifuentes saved Chanco from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Chanco's goal looked a bit too open when Fauzi Tanjung came free, but Juan Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremías Marsal kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Thoma tu Gel's Andy Higuera made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Cifuentes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute of the match Sarracino Canío shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Urre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Thoma tu Gel were the better team. Thoma tu Gel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
