After 12 minutes of play, Thoma tu Gel's Mannuel Manzano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the indomables FC defense, Fauzi Tanjung kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slaven Malbašić. The indomables FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slaven Malbašić should have stopped the shot. When Jaime Rosas fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored indomables FC's protests and gave Jaime Rosas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Jaime Rosas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Necochea in the 47th minute of play forced Thoma tu Gel's goalkeeper Joel Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes indomables FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Elorreaga. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Elorreaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Elorreaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Urre having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Thoma tu Gel's Andy Higuera got a free kick in the 69th minute. Joel Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Necochea in the 71st minute of play. Slaven Malbašić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Higuera's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fauzi Tanjung got free with Slaven Malbašić in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, indomables FC's Slaven Malbašić got control of the ball when Mannuel Manzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slaven Malbašić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fauzi Tanjung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Andy Higuera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slaven Malbašić. indomables FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Higuera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Arnoldo Dol charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Dol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of indomables FC booed when Thoma tu Gel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Dol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the game Guntademaro Torre made a throw-in which Jonatan Elorreaga played forward. After 92 minutes of play Thoma tu Gel's Arnoldo Dol was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Thoma tu Gel's Arnoldo Dol got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Slaven Malbašić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Segura in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Thoma tu Gel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than indomables FC.
