Raimundo Murdoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chucalen. Raimundo Murdoch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eber Ubeda's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Chucalen's Sergio Palamara got a free kick in the 27th minute. Robustiano Landea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odín Fajardo in the 28th minute of the match. Eber Ubeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Raimundo Murdoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysmael Escribar's late challenge caught a Pemuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ysmael Escribar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Chucalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysmael Escribar to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Eber Ubeda made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Jaña in the 53rd minute of play forced Chucalen's goalkeeper Robustiano Landea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chucalen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Andoni Barbaste hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Eber Ubeda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chucalen's Robustiano Landea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odín Fajardo in the 61st minute of play. Robustiano Landea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odín Fajardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Odín Fajardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chucalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pemuco the free kick. A collision led to Chucalen getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. After having played for 95 minutes, Peio Jaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pemuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peio Jaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peio Jaña took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Landea. Robustiano Landea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chucalen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
