Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Carrizo AFC's Jerardo Prieto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peio Jaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gabino Justicia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Maquieira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Odín Fajardo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Pemuco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carrizo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Odín Fajardo 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Jerardo Prieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabino Justicia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peio Jaña in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizo AFC's zone, Odín Fajardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabino Justicia came out of the goal and Odín Fajardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Odín Fajardo made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Francisco Maquieira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabino Justicia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pemuco's Odín Fajardo. But to his dismay, Odín Fajardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Odín Fajardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabino Justicia having to interfere. Raimundo Murdoch stood somewhat misplaced when Constantino Machado came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 67 minute. The audience was convinced that Jerardo Prieto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Murdoch was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Constantino Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Constantino Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Murdoch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Machado in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Pemuco's goal looked a bit too open when Jerardo Prieto came free, but Raimundo Murdoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Marcelo Noguera's late challenge caught a Carrizo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Marcelo Noguera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Pemuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Marcelo Noguera to maneuver through the defense. When Peio Jaña came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pemuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peio Jaña couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pemuco's Brian Lagos got a free kick in the 89th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Carrizo AFC's Nastasio Abbatte tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carrizo AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
