Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Odín Fajardo got the match started through his kick off. Pemuco's Odín Fajardo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caupolicán Lorie made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Peio Jaña sent off a good shot on target. Peio Jaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caupolicán Lorie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peio Jaña ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Irarrázaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Campo got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Raimundo Murdoch handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 13th minute Raimundo Irarrázaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Murdoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pemuco's Raimundo Murdoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Irarrázaval in the 15th minute of play. Odín Fajardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergi Musalem charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergi Musalem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pemuco:s Raimundo Murdoch showed great skill when he stopped Reyes Abrahamsohn:s penalty. When Robustiano Quezada came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pachacamita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Quezada couldn't finish the play. Peio Jaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Caupolicán Lorie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Natalio Campo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Murdoch was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Pachacamita AFC's Robustiano Quezada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Murdoch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Campo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Natalio Campo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pemuco getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. José Marcelo Noguera hit a great ball. If Peio Jaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Campo in the 65th minute of play forced Pemuco's goalkeeper Raimundo Murdoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caupolicán Lorie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peio Jaña in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Odín Fajardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Pachacamita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Odín Fajardo came free, but Caupolicán Lorie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Peio Jaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pemuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peio Jaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pachacamita AFC booed when Pemuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Marcelo Noguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Murdoch made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Raimundo Irarrázaval sent off a good shot on target. If Raimundo Irarrázaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Irarrázaval's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Raimundo Murdoch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robustiano Quezada's late challenge caught a Pemuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Quezada helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Pachacamita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Quezada. The Pachacamita AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pachacamita AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
