The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quintén Seraín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Paredones's goalkeeper Manolo Depsch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Savier Wilson. The supporters of Mariscadero AFC booed when Paredones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Soriano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo Depsch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Savier Wilson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Raúl Benavente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Arrué came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Paredones's Gerónimo Montero. But to his dismay, Gerónimo Montero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Raúl Benavente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, Mariscadero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Cervantes to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Quintén Seraín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Depsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufino Munizaga kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Gerónimo Montero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariscadero AFC's Manuel Arrué was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Arrué showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Benavente, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quintén Seraín to strike the kick off in the second half. Raúl Benavente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Arrué having to interfere. The supporters of Paredones booed when Mariscadero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabel Perales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo Depsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Wilson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufino Munizaga during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Mariscadero AFC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristofer Dinarte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paredones's Manolo Depsch. 2-1. With a little luck, Mariscadero AFC's Manuel Arrué got control of the ball when Raúl Benavente tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Andy Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Paredones booed when Mariscadero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Bertiz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
