Spectators: 5945 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 250, VIP seats: 103) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Quintén Seraín got the match started through his kick off. Quintén Seraín scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufino Mac Donald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Arrué didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Ansaldo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jaime Pfingsthorn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Arrué. Mariscadero AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Cholchol AFC's Ramón Ansaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Arrué narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Ramón Ansaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariscadero AFC's Manuel Arrué was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Amado Carrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cholchol AFC booed when Mariscadero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Cervantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Delpín, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Mariscadero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Carrera came free, but Manuel Arrué reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Ansaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cholchol AFC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Cholchol AFC's Amado Carrera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lois Jurado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Manuel Arrué tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramón Ansaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amado Carrera came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cholchol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Carrera couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Ramón Ansaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Arrué saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Quintén Seraín took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Rufino Mac Donald to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Carrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cholchol AFC's Amado Carrera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A collision led to Mariscadero AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Enmanuel Placente hit a great ball. Manuel Arrué showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Carrera in the 68th minute of the match. When Amado Carrera came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cholchol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Carrera couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Benito Somarriva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholchol AFC and the Mariscadero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benito Somarriva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Savier Wilson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintén Seraín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufino Mac Donald having to interfere. Amado Carrera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Arrué came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Carrera slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 85th minute. Mariscadero AFC's Manuel Arrué proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Mariscadero AFC from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Cholchol AFC's Amado Carrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Arrué narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mariscadero AFC's Manuel Arrué got control of the ball when Ramón Ansaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Carrera struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Manuel Arrué didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cholchol AFC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cholchol AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
