Rufino Mac Donald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Montero in the 24th minute of the match. Casimiro Andolcetti hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Manolo Depsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Carrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerónimo Montero kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ramón Ansaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramón Ansaldo in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manolo Depsch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Amado Carrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cholchol AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benito Somarriva hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerónimo Montero was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Paredones's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Ansaldo came free, but Manolo Depsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Montero in the 58th minute of play forced Cholchol AFC's goalkeeper Rufino Mac Donald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manolo Depsch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Carrera's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Amado Carrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramón Ansaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cholchol AFC fully deserved thier win.
