But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Luis Massoc couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute of the match Daniel Aguero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Sotomayor skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Manzanal got free with Alfredo Sotomayor in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Leyda's goalkeeper Alfredo Sotomayor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Manzanal.
