Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Pirola started the match with the kick off. Oriol Ramírez had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Demetrio Millán from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Norino Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Provincial San Fernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Norino Alfaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arcadio Anastassiou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Provincial San Fernando's goalkeeper Oriol Ramírez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oriol Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Millán in the 20th minute of the match. Celedonio Del Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Albert Pirola notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Talcan FC's Arcadio Anastassiou. Arcadio Anastassiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Quique Pascal came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Talcan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quique Pascal couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Millán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quique Pascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Oriol Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Millán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Ramírez having to interfere. Quique Pascals short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Oriol Ramírez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute, Nastasio Balart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Demetrio Millán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talcan FC's Abundio Eslava got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norino Alfaro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arcadio Anastassiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Provincial San Fernando. Albert Pirola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demetrio Millán to strike the kick off in the second half. Quique Pascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Ramírez having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Quique Pascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talcan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quique Pascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Provincial San Fernando's Oriol Ramírez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Millán in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Provincial San Fernando was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Del Pino to maneuver through the defense. Quique Pascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Oriol Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Provincial San Fernando's Oriol Ramírez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Millán in the 69th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Demetrio Millán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Provincial San Fernando's Oriol Ramírez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Apaulaza kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Talcan FC's José Luis Lattapiat got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Millán in the 92nd minute of play forced Provincial San Fernando's goalkeeper Oriol Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Millán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Oriol Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Provincial San Fernando supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Provincial San Fernando would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
