Abelado Retana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Calvino Freudenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Millán, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Eterno F.C.'s zone, Demetrio Millán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvino Freudenburg came out of the goal and Demetrio Millán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Eterno F.C.'s Uriel Celada got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Uriel Celada off the ground. In the 14th match minute, El Eterno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Celada to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Talcan FC's Quique Pascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calvino Freudenburg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Demetrio Millán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvino Freudenburg having to interfere. Calvino Freudenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quique Pascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to El Eterno F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rigoberto Herboso hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Talcan FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvino Leiva. After a defensive mix-up in El Eterno F.C.'s zone, Quique Pascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvino Freudenburg came out of the goal and Quique Pascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Gustavo Morales struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Arcadio Anastassiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Eterno F.C.. Ofelio Vallejos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arcadio Anastassiou having to interfere. Calvino Freudenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Pascal in the 40th minute of play. Demetrio Millán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Calvino Freudenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 74 minutes of play, Talcan FC's Quique Pascal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calvino Freudenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arcadio Anastassiou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Gustavo Morales went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Calvino Freudenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Talcan FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talcan FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
