Sarracino Franco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th minute, Maurino Azcue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiuquilemu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Tilama getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Carlos Manuel Lattapiat hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Maurino Azcue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Tilama's Eladio Poqué sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xaiver Marcou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maurino Azcue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarías Berendique's late challenge caught a Tiuquilemu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarías Berendique helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Tilama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarías Berendique to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Maurino Azcue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 64thth minute of the game Benicio Mandujano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiuquilemu's Xaiver Marcou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benicio Mandujano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ángel Samaniego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarracino Franco was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Eladio Poqué received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Xaiver Marcou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tilama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Mandujano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
