After a rather tough play, Tilama's Narcomillo Enríquez got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Ambrosio Maier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sarracino Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes, Tilama's Carlos Manuel Falcón shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelino Cacho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tilama reached it. After a rather tough play, Tilama's Zacarías Berendique got a free kick in the 31st minute. Odón Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benicio Mandujano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Choquelimpie's goal looked a bit too open when Eladio Poqué came free, but Angelino Cacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Eladio Poqué cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Angelino Cacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odón Abarca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Odón Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odón Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Choquelimpie's Santiago Porras got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Odón Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarracino Franco was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Santiago Porras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eladio Poqué sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Choquelimpie got a freekick which was hit by Washington Baros. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eladio Poqué managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tilama's supporters rose to their feet, but Eladio Poqué was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Cacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Benicio Mandujano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Mandujano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eladio Poqué sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Mandujano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Angelino Cacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Tilama's Eladio Poqué sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Cacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Cacho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. In the 96th minute, Benicio Mandujano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tilama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tilama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
