Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chovellen's Lucas Cataldo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chovellen's goalkeeper Narciso Caroca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Freitag took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Caroca. Narciso Caroca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Narciso Caroca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Freitag in the 8th minute of the match. Narciso Caroca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Freitag in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Aldo Freitag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Caroca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Aldo Freitag managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadaba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Freitag was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Aguacero charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Aguacero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Chovellen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guadaba FC:s goal. In the 28th minute Regino Borghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Caroca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chovellen's zone, Regino Borghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Caroca came out of the goal and Regino Borghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Caroca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Corbalán in the 32nd minute of play. The Chovellen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guadaba FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Regino Borghi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Lucas Cataldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Guadaba FC booed when Chovellen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Grez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Regino Borghi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horacio Anabalon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Narciso Caroca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Guadaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Casos to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, one of Guadaba FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Gregorio Schele came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chovellen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Schele couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Regino Borghi in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Caroca saved Chovellen from getting behind. 99 minutes into the game, Gregorio Schele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Salvador Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
