The audience thought a goal was coming when Iván Luis Ortiz got free with Luis Eduardo Súnico in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 7 minutes of play, Huecahuecan FC's Emilio Felipe Restovic made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florín Makaus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Roa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A long shot from Baudelio Goycolea in the 13th minute of play was well struck, but Luis Eduardo Súnico made a really good save at the right post. The audience was convinced that Emilio Felipe Restovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florín Makaus was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Aaron Abaroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emilio Felipe Restovic might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florín Makaus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Felipe Restovic ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Bernardo Iriberry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noé Talamilla, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Celedonio Masson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcantara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huecahuecan FC the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Alcantara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Masson to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Abaroa took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florín Makaus. Florín Makaus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dionisio Jurado charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Jurado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Huecahuecan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Jurado to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match, Celedonio Masson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luis Eduardo Súnico saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41st minute, Iván Luis Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iván Luis Ortiz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Alcantara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Moisés Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Aaron Abaroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Iriberry hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Aaron Abaroas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Florín Makaus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celedonio Masson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luis Eduardo Súnico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Huecahuecan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Masson came free, but Luis Eduardo Súnico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Celedonio Masson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Luis Eduardo Súnico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Eduardo Súnico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Luis Ortiz in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Emilio Felipe Restovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huecahuecan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Felipe Restovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florín Makaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florín Makaus made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Aaron Abaroa sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Abaroa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florín Makaus having to make a save. In the 82nd minute of the match Sandro Alvear shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florín Makaus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Emilio Felipe Restovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Masson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luis Eduardo Súnico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iván Luis Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huecahuecan FC's Luis Eduardo Súnico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Masson in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Huecahuecan FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nahuel Barriga hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alcantara's Arcadio Camposano tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Huecahuecan FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
