Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Odol Adelsdorfer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teodosio Orrego charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Orrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Odol Adelsdorfer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacífico Duncker having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Huiquile FC's zone, Odol Adelsdorfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacífico Duncker came out of the goal and Odol Adelsdorfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ezmundo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Aristeo Carnevalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txomin Malky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Ezmundo Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pacífico Duncker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odol Adelsdorfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Txomin Malky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristeo Carnevalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Niquen getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rexino Philippi hit a great ball. Teodosio Orrego, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pacífico Duncker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Chamorro in the 37th minute of play. Txomin Malky didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Aristeo Carnevalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Malky having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pacífico Duncker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odol Adelsdorfer in the 53rd minute of play. Odol Adelsdorfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huiquile FC were furious when Gilberto Valencia was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Niquen's Natalio Novoa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pacífico Duncker. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ezmundo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huiquile FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezmundo Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txomin Malky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odol Adelsdorfer in the 81st minute of play forced Huiquile FC's goalkeeper Pacífico Duncker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txomin Malky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezmundo Melo in the 85th minute of play. Ezmundo Melo scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Txomin Malky, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Ezmundo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huiquile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezmundo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Huiquile FC's Ezequiel Maack got a free kick in the 98th minute. If Natalio Chamorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niquen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
