The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amato Andrade's late challenge caught a Chanopalca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amato Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, U.de Chile F.C's Amato Andrade got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sansón Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Marti in the 15th minute of the match. Eulalio Marti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, U.de Chile F.C's Carlos Ripamonti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belmiro Leay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belmiro Leay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miliano De la Barra in the 25th minute of play. Saturnino Cornejo's late challenge caught a Chanopalca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Cornejo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, one of U.de Chile F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U.de Chile F.C. Juan Antonio Alpi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Sansón Diaz was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Eulalio Marti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eulalio Marti really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jaime Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sansón Diaz having to interfere. When Elias Larreta fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.de Chile F.C's protests and gave Elias Larreta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chanopalca FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rutenio Markmann hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Belmiro Leay was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Victorio Henríquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorio Henríquez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. A collision led to U.de Chile F.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rogelio Carretero hit a great ball. Jasone Doebbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sansón Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Rutenio Markmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Eulalio Marti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Marti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eulalio Marti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sansón Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Marti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the game, Rogelio Carretero landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 81 minutes into the game, Rutenio Markmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chanopalca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U.de Chile F.C the free kick. A collision led to Chanopalca FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rutenio Markmann hit a great ball. Eulalio Marti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sansón Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro Leay made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Miliano De la Barra sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Miliano De la Barra managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.de Chile F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Miliano De la Barra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Leay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sansón Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Hormann in the 97th minute of play. U.de Chile F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chanopalca FC's much stronger midfield.
