Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Miguel Mac Rae kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Francisco Miguel Mac Rae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinquimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Miguel Mac Rae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Mellibosky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Jonathan Sires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Mellibosky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Miguel Mac Rae's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Adriano Van Sloten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Paulino Mellibosky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Quinquimo FC's Francisco Miguel Mac Rae made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Mellibosky was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Francisco Miguel Mac Rae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinquimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Miguel Mac Rae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Mellibosky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Huidobro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Jofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Paulino Mellibosky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Miguel Mac Rae in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Daniel Hoefler got free with Eustaquio Huidobro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Huidobro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Daniel Hoefler in the 39th minute. After 44 minutes, Albano Jofre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huachipato and the Quinquimo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Jofre was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Mellibosky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Van Sloten in the 52nd minute of play. Albano Jofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estebano Pellegri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quinquimo FC booed when Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliverio Urbina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikel Martin might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Mellibosky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikel Martin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Miguel Mac Rae got free with Paulino Mellibosky in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Estebano Pellegri. Paulino Mellibosky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poulus Rojo in the 67th minute of the match. When Dalmacio Killinge fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huachipato's protests and gave Dalmacio Killinge a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huachipato! When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Quinquimo FC's Mikel Martin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulino Mellibosky. After 77 played minutes Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Oliverio Urbina. Marcos Francisco Camelo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paulino Mellibosky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinquimo FC. Francisco Miguel Mac Rae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Mellibosky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poulus Rojo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Miguel Mac Raes short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Paulino Mellibosky to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quinquimo FC played a much better game than Huachipato and deserved their victory. The Huachipato players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
