With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Jesus Borda in the 16th managed to get into a good position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Thomas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Belgrano CBA booed when Pataguillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Risopatrón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Brizuela struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cresenciano Quiero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano CBA. After 37 played minutes Pataguillas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Odón Camposano. A hard shot 39 in the game by Candido Thomas from a close distance when the talented Cresenciano Quiero managed to make a qualified save. Pataguillas AFC's players were relieved. In the 40th minute, Candido Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano CBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Horacio Jesus Borda came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Pataguillas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Jesus Borda couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Friz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Belgrano CBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Normando Pelissier who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pataguillas AFC's corner Normando Pelissier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo quite easily take care of the ball. Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Friz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Belgrano CBA's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Jesus Borda. Cresenciano Quiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Brizuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pataguillas AFC's zone, Candido Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cresenciano Quiero came out of the goal and Candido Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cresenciano Quiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Brizuela in the 73rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Pataguillas AFC's Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Friz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mohamed Friz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pataguillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Friz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Friz in the 85th minute of the match. If Mohamed Friz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belgrano CBA's Candido Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Belgrano CBA were victorious despite being under pressure from Pataguillas AFC for much of the match.
