The supporters of Belgrano CBA booed when Catarpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Joglar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Belgrano CBA's Echedey Fuentealba tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Catarpe's Felipe Duran got his second yellow card of the match in the 9th minute. The referee ordered Felipe Duran off the ground. Belgrano CBA's Echedey Fuentealba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Catarpe. Niceto Llamllam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Thomas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Catarpe's Niceto Llamllam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Brizuela in the 16th minute of play. When Christian Sadin fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano CBA's protests and gave Christian Sadin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Belgrano CBA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Christian Sadin hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ricart Pumarino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Belgrano CBA's Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo. Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes Catarpe got a freekick which was hit by Elías Jaime. Niceto Llamllam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Brizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Thomas in the 36th minute of play forced Catarpe's goalkeeper Niceto Llamllam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Catarpe's Anastasio Lagos got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Echedey Fuentealba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Catarpe's Niceto Llamllam didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ricart Pumarino made the kick off in the second half. Amador Brizuela struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Niceto Llamllam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano CBA. Candido Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Llamllam having to interfere. Amador Brizuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Llamllam having to interfere. Amador Brizuela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niceto Llamllam came out and tried to block the shot, but Amador Brizuela slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 63rd minute. Ricart Pumarino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Solminihac hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Belgrano CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricart Pumarino came free, but Leopoldo Jacinto Tejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Solminihac charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Solminihac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Belgrano CBA's Guido Solminihac got a free kick in the 85th minute. Niceto Llamllam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Thomas in the 87th minute. The Belgrano CBA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Catarpe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
