After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ricart Pumarino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catarpe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricart Pumarino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cresenciano Quiero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Baraquiel Manzanares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pataguillas AFC and the Catarpe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baraquiel Manzanares kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pataguillas AFC's Cresenciano Quiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Pumarino in the 19th minute of play. Niceto Llamllam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Friz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Friz might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Llamllam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Friz ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 24 minutes, Mohamed Friz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pataguillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Friz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Catarpe's Ricart Pumarino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cresenciano Quiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mohamed Friz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Llamllam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Jesus Borda, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Friz in the 55th minute of play forced Catarpe's goalkeeper Niceto Llamllam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Jesus Borda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. In the 78th minute Mohamed Friz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Llamllam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pataguillas AFC's Camilo Risopatrón got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ricart Pumarino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cresenciano Quiero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pataguillas AFC's goalkeeper Cresenciano Quiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Mohamed Friz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Llamllam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pataguillas AFC's Nauzet Banda got a free kick in the 96th minute. Chants of Catarpe echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pataguillas AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
