Teofilo Puccio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Alpi having to interfere. The supporters of Chaparano booed when Tirua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucián Tolhauzsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tirua getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Yeray Acevedo hit a great ball. Ermegildo Píriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Avilés, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Xalvador Alpi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutenio Macho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tirua's Xalvador Alpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutenio Macho in the 18th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tirua's Florencio Alava in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ermegildo Píriz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chaparano through an amazing save. In the 23rd minute Teofilo Puccio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalvador Alpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tirua's Lucián Tolhauzsen got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Chaparano's goalkeeper Ermegildo Píriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Avilés. In the 29th minute Rutenio Macho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalvador Alpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Ulises Avilés managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Avilés was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Píriz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Justo Marcou sent off a good shot on target. Ermegildo Píriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romano Diban in the 33rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rutenio Macho made a kick off. Ermegildo Píriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Marcou in the 56th minute of the match. Ermegildo Píriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romano Diban went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Chaparano defense, Ulises Avilés kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Píriz. The Chaparano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Píriz should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Rutenio Macho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xalvador Alpi, 3-2. Tirua's Francisco Alberto Disselkoen was substituted for Florencio Alava. 87 minutes into the game, Rutenio Macho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaparano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirua the free kick. In the 90th minute, Justo Marcou made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Píriz. Chaparano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. There was no doubt that Tirua were the better team. Tirua's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
