Zeus Fc were furious when Tanausu Fassnacht was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zeus Fc! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Atletico Esperanza FC. Roldán Gatica stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salbatore Ortiz. 2-0. Nereo Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salbatore Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Dijk in the 30th minute of play. Lucero Arratia charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucero Arratia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Lucero Arratia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roldán Gatica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Salbatore Ortiz made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Zeus Fc's goalkeeper Salbatore Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roldán Gatica. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Potts was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Zeus Fc's Lucero Arratia got a free kick in the 51st minute. Carlos Hermua made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugo Mahotiere immediately put the ball in play. In the 60th minute of the game Israel Yevenez made a throw-in which Roldán Gatica played forward. Nereo Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roldán Gatica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salbatore Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roldán Gatica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Esperanza FC had played much better football throughout.
