The Quilapalo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mauricio Mahotiere's late challenge caught a Quilapalo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Mahotiere helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quilapalo booed when Ancagual AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Mahotiere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Diego Haverbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilapalo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Haverbeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Panzer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Adelmo Cumplido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilapalo. When Diego Haverbeck came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Quilapalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Haverbeck couldn't finish the play. Quilapalo's Carlos José Polanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tinguaro Balladares in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Raimundo L´Hotelier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelmo Cumplido. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Victoriano Mendizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adelmo Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Haverbeck to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Florentino Panzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Adelmo Cumplido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tinguaro Balladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos José Polanco having to interfere. Eduardo Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Mauricio Mahotiere hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Quilapalo got a freekick which was hit by Milián Lastarria. In the 85th play minute Mercurio Barcoj came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos José Polanco. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tinguaro Balladares in the 94th minute of play forced Quilapalo's goalkeeper Carlos José Polanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quilapalo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ancagual AFC for a fine match.
