The Aburridos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Madrid should have stopped the shot. Aburridos FC's Cecilio Madrid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esequiel Novoa in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Manzano FC got a corner. Aburridos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cecilio Madrid came out of the goal and Adalberto Serna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Angelo Swett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manzano FC played a much better game than Aburridos FC and deserved their victory. The Aburridos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
