Guacolla AFC's Edelmiro Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Alfonso Rabe in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Juan Alfonso Rabe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aoni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Alfonso Rabe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Juan Alfonso Rabe came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Aoni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Alfonso Rabe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Lois in the 31st minute of play forced Guacolla AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nastasio Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Lois, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Edelmiro Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Alfonso Rabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Guacolla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salbatore Parrasia to maneuver through the defense. When Nastasio Losada came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Aoni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nastasio Losada couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Juan Alfonso Rabe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guacolla AFC's Edelmiro Araoz. Edelmiro Araoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacob Giron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aoni's goalkeeper Soriano Codina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Moisés Hormann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moisés Hormann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustín Lois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Araoz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nastasio Losada got free with Edelmiro Araoz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guacolla AFC's Edelmiro Araoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Guacolla AFC from getting a goal against them. Agustín Lois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Araoz made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Juan Alfonso Rabe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aoni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Narciso Ackermann kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Edelmiro Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Giron, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Agustín Lois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guacolla AFC's zone, Nastasio Losada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Araoz came out of the goal and Nastasio Losada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Soriano Lantaño in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Aoni's Jorge Vicente Alcantara. Nastasio Losada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Araoz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Aoni's Jorge Vicente Alcantara got a free kick in the 93rd minute. With an all-out effort, Aoni's Edelmiro Araoz threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacob Giron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Guacolla AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aoni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
